Indem sie Rezipierenden erm\u00f6glichen, kognitiv und emotional tief in die Welt einer Geschichte einzutauchen, k\u00f6nnen Narrationen ihre persuasive Wirkung entfalten. Das Forschungsfeld der narrativen Persuasion widmet sich der systematischen Untersuchung dieser Wirkung von Geschichten. Dieser Beitrag f\u00fchrt zun\u00e4chst in die theoretischen Ans\u00e4tze zur Erkl\u00e4rung der Persuasivit\u00e4t von Narrationen ein und stellt im Anschluss den empirischen Forschungsstand dar. Insgesamt best\u00e4tigen die Forschungsergebnisse die persuasive Wirkkraft von Geschichten auf Wissen, Einstellungen und Verhalten ihrer Rezipierenden. Es wurden jedoch auch verschiedene Faktoren identifiziert, die narrative Effekte einerseits verst\u00e4rken, aber auch verhindern k\u00f6nnen. Dazu geh\u00f6ren z.\u00a0B. die Erz\u00e4hlperspektive, die Voreinstellungen der Rezipierenden oder auch der Rezeptionskontext.
