Das Leitsymptom ist daher die Dysphagie f\u00fcr feste und\/oder fl\u00fcssige Speisen, h\u00e4ufig begleitet von Symptomen wie Thoraxschmerz, Regurgitation, Sodbrennen und Gewichtsverlust. Die \u00d6sophagusmanometrie ist der Goldstandard in der Diagnostik. Endoskopie und Radiologie dienen dem Ausschluss entz\u00fcndlicher oder maligner Ver\u00e4nderungen.<\/jats:p><jats:p>Durch die Einf\u00fchrung der hochaufl\u00f6senden \u00d6sophagusmanometrie (HRM) hat sich die Diagnostik der \u00d6sophagusmotilit\u00e4tsst\u00f6rungen verbessert und mit der Chicago-Klassifikation zu einer neuen Einteilung gef\u00fchrt, die im letzten Jahrzehnt mehrfach modifiziert wurde, zuletzt 2021 mit der Chicago-Klassifikation v4.0. Verglichen mit der Vorversion v3.0 finden sich einige wichtige \u00c4nderungen, die anhand der im klinischen Alltag wichtigsten \u00d6sophagusmotilit\u00e4tsst\u00f6rungen vorgestellt
